'Paint Ventura' event

The "Paint Ventura" Fair on Sunday was presented by Red Brick Gallery in Downtown Ventura and it was the last day of a 3-day event. It started out with a slow morning but then picked up towards the end of the event day. Many many thanks to my last customer who had purchased 4 ties, 2 for her wardrobe and the others for gifts. "Handmade Galleries" Trunk Show

This past Saturday I had a Trunk Show at Handmade Galleries on Ventura Blvd.. the store where I have my neckties displayed for sale. I think due to Carmagedon going on in LA on the 405 Fwy, there was not as many people shopping as they would have on the weekends. Overall, I got great feedbacks from a couple of curious faces, so .......ROCK ON!!!!! :)

New stylin' designs!

So here I was, looking for novelty buttons at the craft store the other day, when all of a sudden, I turn around and see silk flowers. And then it hit me....what if I use flower petals?
